WEBSTER, Edgar Donald - Putnam

Edgar Donald Webster, 80, of 21 Stanley Drive, Crawfordsville, died Friday afternoon, February 24, at his home. A retired Putnam County farmer, he was a member of the First Christian Church in Crawfordsville and the Farm Bureau. He was born March 8, 1897, in Putnam County to Charles and Emma Everman Webster. He graduated from Russellville High School in 1915. He was married to Reta M. McGaughey on August 17, 1918, at Greencastle. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Jean Sawyer of RR, Roachdale; a brother, Dean of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ramsay of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday afternoon in the Hunt & Son Funeral Chapel in Crawfordsville with Rev. John Glosser officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery near Russellville. Many from here called at the funeral home and attended the funeral.
